Enid, here's your afghan.
Sorry it's over a month late. I started it on time (Christmas Eve), and I crocheted almost all of it in about two weeks and could do no more. I felt bad when your birthday came and went without it, but slacker that I am, didn't finish it. Well, until this morning that is.
Now for a closeup.
It's made with TLC Amore yarn in a diagonal basketweave pattern. It's one of my favorite pattern to crochet. Hope you like it. I'll send it to you this weekend.
Thanks to my hubby for the neat animated blog button. He will create more.
Very nice! As long as I've been knitting, I've never tried that stitch. Your sis is lucky!!! I look forward to seeing more of your work!

Correction: I meant to say, "As long as I've been crocheting."

Hi Vera,
The Regia box came to me from Germany via California. One of my American "sock sisters" who lives in Germany brought it with her and mailed it to me from California. I believe Martina sells them, though.

You could write her. Her English is great.
