A Taste of Yarn

Yummmmmm....

Yesterday afternoon, I attended a Yarn Tasting at Knit.

Liking the egg carton concept.  We got to try out 12 different yarns.  It was fun to work with them, and take them for a test drive.

Here's the finished swash.  I enjoyed crocheting them.

My favorite yarns were the Sirdar Baby Bamboo (in orange) and the Queensland Bebe Cotsoy (yellow).

 Besides yarns, there were other treats too.

The cake was heavenly and I totally ate too much shrimp.

I love my door prize as well...

What a treat. I wish one of the shops in this area would feature a yarn tasting. It would be nice to take a test drive before you buy.
