My So Bizzare Life

Missouri River Felicity

What can I say?

Missouri River Felicity Side

Missouri River Felicity Back

Pattern:  Felicity by Wanett Clyde

Started/Finished: November 8-November 9, 2008.  Done in less than 24 hours!

Yarn:  Mountain Colors River Twist, Missouri River colorway

Needles: Size 7 and 9 16" cirs and size 9 dpns

Mods:  Used the mods listed here, but used a size 9  needle instead of a 10. Probably should have done a cast on of 90 stitches with this yearn instead of 80, but it still fits.

Notes: Really wanted to use this pretty yarn for something.  Why not another hat?  Why not a fourth Felicity?

Earth Day Bag

Earth Bag 111608

Pattern: Earth Day Bag (Ravelry Link) by Katie Watson

Started/Finished: November 9-16, 2008

Yarn:  Nautical Cotton

Needles:  Size 6, straights and 24" cirs, size 8 straights

Mods:  Made the colors changes outlined here  (Ravelry link).

Notes/Impressions: Not a hat, and it's way eco-cute.  I had plenty of Nautical Cotton (which I just love) in stash.  The pattern is easy to follow and well-written. Really like the colors. Need to stretch out the bag more, but it'll make a sweet market bag.

The last ten days of my life have been strange and stressful to say the least.  So glad I have Patrick and my crafts.

Another nice hat, and I LOVE the bag!

Cute projects! I hope your life is settling down for you!

Very cryptic, Vera! But also very crafty!

I love your hat- I need to make a slouchy hat too!! and I just finished sewing some grocery bags...not as nice as your Earth Day Bag!

that is a really cute bag and perfect timing too! love the shade of blue in the hat.

hope all's back to normal real soon!

Love your stuff! Love the hat. Love the bag. There's just not enough hours in the day to do all the knitting. That's why we have each other's blogs. so we can oooh and aaawww at the great projects out there in space.

I have some Bearfoot in the same colorway - it's nice to see it knit up. Sorry you're having stress. Here's hoping it gets better.
