World Wide Knit in Public Day 2008
Overall, I had a wonderful time at our KIP at the Riverdogs Game at Joseph Riley Park "The Joe" yesterday. I wish that we all could have sat together even though we were in the same section and close by, but I'll make sure we that we are all together the next time around.
We did get a mention and got some ribbing from the announcer at the game, and got to be on the big screen, which was pretty cool.
Still, I actually got some knitting done, and enjoyed fellowshipping with others and meeting friends and family.
A big thanks goes out to all who helped and supported. I really appreciate it.
Tina, Marianne, me, and Jimmy (Tina's DH) enjoying the game and the beautiful evening.
Beth (co-author of The Little Box of Socks) and Connie working on socks.
Gay, Lynn, and Mollie hanging out.
Laura, Kat, and Keisha are ready for their close up.
Nancy & Her DH, Phil.
Amy couldn't knit, but did represent.
What's wrong with my hubby?
There was baseball going on. Unfortunately, the 'Dogs lost 7-6 :-(
My Orange Crush Thujas are coming along nicely. I worked on the sock on the right for most of the game.
Since the WW in WWKIP stands for world wide, you can see some photos from all over in the Flickr pool.
