My Wicked sweater is all done, and it's my second sweater FO this year!
I'm very happy with how it turned out. It was fun to knit and I even stepped out of the box and did some mods.
Pattern: Wicked by Zephyr Style
Size & Yarn: Medium/2.5 Skeins of Dream in Color Classy in Chinatown Apple
Needles: Size 7, 32" cirs
Mods: Made it a inch or so longer. Used the cable rib on the botton instead of seed stitch. Knitted six rows on stockinette on the sleeves in the Magic Loop method (love it!) before starting the cable rib. Had enough yarn left over to make the sleeves longer, but I'm not going rip them out for that.
I'm so on a roll, and ready take on more. Next on deck is this cute little cardi for the Dream in Color K/CAL that The Loopy Ewe is having on Ravelry.
Still need to work out the Self-Portrait of an Artist as a Middle-Aged Woman in a Mirror thing. I'll have Patrick shoot some better photos later.
Also, Thanks to Mollie at Knit for helping me in sewing on the pocket. Since I don't sew, it was the scariest part of the project for me, but like many things that seem scary, it's easy once you try.
