A Nice Surprise
Patrick got a new monitor today--probably to stop me from whining so much. I'm happy to be back in Blogland, and to be able to read blogs which have white letters on a dark background. The fact that the monitor bigger is such a plus as well.
I've pretty much caught up my blog reading. So much has happened in the last few weeks. I missed keeping up with everything.
I'm not sure why we kept the same monitor (circa 1995) so long even after we've changed computers. Who knows.
More (and Better?) Photos
I wasn't pleased with the photo of my Horse Around Purse that I put on the blog this morning, so here's another.
While this is better, It's not great, but the colors are a bit truer. I will start on the one for my MIL (her birthday is Jan 13th) soon. I feel it will be a nice size with three horse rounds and a shorter strap since I made mine so much larger than gauge.
My beret doesn't look so ghostly. I used some old stash of Lion Brand's Imagine that I brought on sale a couple of years ago before it was discontinued..
Here are the Jaywalker Socks
Not super great, but better. I really want to make another pair. I have some Brown Sheep WildFoote that will do the trick.

Good to have you back! :) I really love that purse. I'm thinking I need to try one sometime this winter - just not sure where to put it on my to-do list. ;)

I'm slow but I'm catching up. The socks are GORGEOUS, even better. The photo of the bag is great, it shows the texture of the Senso really well. Very nice!

You did a great job on that horse bag. She has a kitty one that I want to try. I think you have inspired me...after christmas thought. Must get Xmas gifts finished. Great work and I love the colors.
