I'm in a Slump
I really haven't done much at all this weekend. In fact, I've been in the doldrums for a while, and haven't done much at all.on my days off It's probably a combination of the heat and just laziness. I can't seem to shake it , so I'll just ride it out until I feel more industrious.
For instance, I spent a good chunk of today watching Inside Training Camp--Jaguars Summer on the NFL Network. I'm not a Jacksonville Jaguars fan, but I really enjoyed the look at a NFL training camp. Even Patrick, who hates football, watched it with me.
I also think I've developed a mild crush on head coach Jack Del Rio, strange girl that I am.
Something for Sadie
I did manage to do some crocheting.
I first saw this on Trish's blog, and fell in love with it. The pattern can be found here, and it's works up fast and easy. I thought it would be nice to make for a lady in my knitting group who recently had a baby daughter,
Anyway, if you are reading this, Hilary, I hope you like it for little Sadie.
The End of the Opera?
I'm using Opera thread in tea rose. I'm little concerned that I will need more than one 251 yd ball, so I went to get some more from AC Moore yesterday. They didn't have it, and what's worse is that AC Moore isn't going to get anymore (sob!). They haven't marked down the Opera they have just yest although the Cebelia is on sale, but I already have lots of it from when Michael's had a big sales on it a couple of years ago, and it went to $1.00 a ball.
When they do markdown the Opera, I'll stock up, of course. It's fabulous thread, and one of my favorites.
No, I Haven't Started the Rogue, but...
Check out this pattern from Jennna. Of course I love it, and the fact that the pattern is 40 pages long doesn't scare me.This time, I know it's because the pattern is very detailed and the cables are charted.
I'll need to see what Elann.com has in wool.
Now to rest up so I can take on the coming week.
