It Takes Two
In addtion to the Vogue Lace Scarf, I made another scarf to send to my partner. The package went out today.
I didn't use a pattern, just made a simple shell scarf with size 3 Aunt Lydia thread. My partner mentioned that she liked blues and greens.
I also received my white Opera 5 thread for my Vogue Lace scarf, and I'm looking forward to working on it--once I find the magazine with the pattern.
Yesterday, my LYS had it's first anniversay celebration. For the first hour, some yarns and accessories were 40% off.
I brought a few things...
I brought the Berroco Optik, because it was pretty. I have no idea what to make with it.. Any suggestions?
A Vintage Gift
I received a cute vintage leaflet from Maryse. I get such a kick out of these, and the scarf on the cover isn't bad.
Thanks Maryse! It's groovy.
Do you like the background that I've used for the last couple of photos? Well, it's 48 (out of 72) motifs of the Mauve skirt.
It doesn't look much like a skirt yet--more like a runner--but I'm more than halfway thru the motifs. I'm glad I've taken the time to sew them up in intervals. So far, it's a nice project.
Cool Crochet is Here!
I received my copy of Cool Crochet today. I've taken a quick view, and it looks good.
Review coming soon.
