Trying It Out
Still working on "The Muppet." I'm close to the halfway point. It's really a very easy knit, but I'm just find it boring.
I crocheted a doily from the lovely Anchor Thread that I received last week I wanted to try it out.
It's really in need of some blocking. The pattern is called Autumn Reflections Doily, but with these pretty colors, I can't call it that. It reminds me of summer. I liked working with the Anchor thread. It's nice and soft, more yarn-like actually. The colors are lovely as well. At first, I had to slow down a little because splitting the thread if I wasn't careful, but I adjusted.
I've recently found out on Julie's Blog that Denise Augostine's website is back up. It had been down for a while, and I missed it. Denise is a very talented designer, and I really like her doilies. Before thesite went off line, I wanted to make a couple of her designs with the lovely thread Julie sent me a few weeks ago.
Market Sqaures BAL Update.
The Market Squares BAL is still chugging along. I really, really, really want to make another bag. Some people have made two, and one is on her third!
This time, I will not read any reviews prior to going. I'm curious to see what they do with a big budget!
