A Nice Meeting
This afternoon, I met the lady who wants the crocheted baby blanket. She really liked the sample, and didn't bat an eyelash when I suggested $120.00 plus yarn costs which works out to be about $150. I guess I could have gotten more, but I'm okay with that.
Since the baby (a girl) is due the first week of February, I have about a month, so I need to jump on it.
Since this afghan is rippled, I'll make the most of it and join the Crochetville's Ripple Along.
Donna strikes again with a cute button.
I will also crochet a poncho for the baby's four year old sister, and try not to stress--well at least not too much.
The Knit Pixie Is In
I have had a glaring omission from my "As Seen On the Web" posts. The very talented Missa has recently opened a new on-line shop for knitters and crocheters. Just click on the button below to check it out.
Way to go Missa! I plan to place an order soon.
Getting Ready for 2005
I tend to feel hopeful this time every year for the new year. I've been working this week, and end of year close is always very stressful in the accounting world, but we have a short day tomorrow, and I don't go back until Tuesday. Also, it's nice to be able to drive back and forth with little traffic.
Pat and I will probably attend First Night Charleston and ring in 2005 there. It's a neat festival, and there's lots to do from joining a People's Procession to attending a chamber music concert to ballroom dancing.
The weather looks great for tomorrow to with temperatures ranging from a low of 51 degrees to a high of 72.
